Testing Payment Request in Sandbox

The Portal Sandbox allows you to test payment requests without needing to request money from a real bank account. This guide will walk you through the key features and processes for testing in the Sandbox environment.

Key Notes for Testing in Sandbox

1. Email and SMS Notifications:

   1. Emails and text messages will still be delivered as part of the testing process.
   2. The primary difference is that payments cannot be deposited into a real bank account.

2. Simulating a Paid Transaction:

   1. To simulate a paid transaction, enter DepositSubmit as the Customer Name when creating a payment request.

3. Previewing Customer Experience:

   1. To better understand the look and feel of what your customers will see, visit the Template Settings page under the Settings menu.
   2. Here, you can upload a logo to your emails and customize the text for SMS messages.
   3. Please note: you will need to set these again in the Production environment.

4. API Testing:

   1. If you are using the API, navigate to Developer Tools under the Settings menu to obtain your API keys and start testing.
